A proposal was made by fellow councillor Mallie Poulton, and voted through during the meeting.

Councillor Pennington deserves to receive this accolade having given four decades of dedication to local government in Frodsham.”

I’m pleased to see that this proposal was supported by the Council.”

Cllr Pennington added:

It’s humbling to know this award has been agreed on by my fellow councillors, and I’d like to thank my fellow Waterside councillor, Mallie Poulton, for suggesting this honour.”

I will continue to serve my residents with the same gusto and work together with my fellow councillors for the good of Frodsham.”
