COUNCILLOR VACANCY – OVERTON & FIVE CROSSES WARD

Notice is hereby given that due to a recent resignation a vacancy exists in the office of Town Councillor for the Overton & Five Crosses Ward of the Town of Frodsham.

The Vacancy will be filled by election if, within fourteen days (not counting a Saturday or Sunday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Good Friday, or a Bank Holiday) from the date of this notice, any ten local government electors for the said electoral area submit a written request to that effect in the manner prescribed below and if no such request is made, the vacancy will be filled by the Town Council.

Any request for an election to be held to fill the vacancy must be in writing and sent to the Returning Officer, Cheshire West and Chester Council, HQ Building, 58 Nicholas Street, Chester, CH1 2NP not later than: Tuesday 22 August 2017.
