Frodsham Town Mayor Cllr Alan Oulton writes:
“Lorraine and I were invited to judge the guy competition at the annual Round Table Bonfire and Fireworks night at the Community Centre.
“A guy built by Weavervale schoolchildren was the winner. They received a cheque for £250. Well done!
“A cheque for over £1,000 was also presented to Halton Haven. What a fantastic group the Round Table are. All volunteers.
“Before the bonfire event we dropped in on the Youth Market at the Youth Club. It was well attended and we picked up several items for Christmas gifts.”
