It’s with sadness that we recorded the death of the Duke of Westminster whose Ancestral Seat is Eaton Hall, Cheshire. Our Mayor Cllr Mallie Poulton, sends deepest condolences on the council’s behalf and that of our Town.
Our Mayor had the privilege of meeting the Duke on a number of occasions linked with his charity work especially in Cheshire with the homeless and Drug offenders. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.RIP.
