Looking for a new challenge?

Rural Community Services have a vacancy for someone to co-ordinate two exciting new services for older people in Frodsham and Helsby.

RCS is a registered charity that provides a range of local services for older people known as OPAL (Older People Active Lives) Services.

RCS has been awarded funding from Brightlife to launch “New Horizions” and “What’s Cooking” – two volunteer-led schemes launching in Spring 2017 to help reduce social isolation in the Frodsham and Helsby areas of Cheshire West.

New Horizons is a buddying service to enable people over the age of 50 to interact with other clubs and pursue their hobbies. What’s Cooking is all about eating and cooking together.

They are currently looking for a Project Organiser to help coordinate these exciting new initiatives.
13 hours a week, £10.10/hour.
Initial 1 year funding.
