Following a meeting this morning with representatives of Cheshire Police we can confirm the arrangements for the Youth & Community Weekend and St George’s Day Parade:

| Friday | 6pm | Junior Mayor’s will formally open the weekend activities at the Fun Fair. |
| 7-9.30pm | Junior Mayors’ Bash in the Parish Hall aimed at 7-14 yr olds.
Tickets £2.50 includes disco, pizza, chips and pop. |

| Saturday | 8am-1pm | Car Boot Sale – 20 cars – proceeds to the Junior Mayors’ Fund. |
| 11am-10pm | Fun Fair | |
| 1-5pm | Children’s Activities in the Leisure Centre hall. | |
| Sunday | 12-6pm | Fun Fair |
| 2pm | St George’s Day Parade sets off from the Community Centre to St Laurence’s Church – Traffic Management in place. | |
| 3pm | Service at St Laurence Church |
The Police are happy with the arrangements that are in place and will continue with their regular patrols over the weekend. If additional back-up is needed it will come from Chester or Runcorn. They are confident that emergency vehicles will reach anywhere they need to be if there were to be an emergency.
PCSO Neil Flanagan will be available throughout Thursday to police the parking situation.
