Councillors at Proud Bees birthday party

On Wednesday Deputy Mayor Councillor Frank Pennington joined the celebrations at our local LGBT group Proud Bees.

Members of the group shared their second birthday party with family, friends, colleagues and local councillors at the Bears Paw Barn. An added bonus was that the Mayor and Mayoress Alan and Lorraine Oulton had returned early from their holiday and were able to join in the fun.

The Police and Crime Commissioner arranged for local PCSO John Kopczyk to attend with the Police Hate Crime car. John was also promoting the PCC’s consultation on the closure of Frodsham Police Station.

Councillor Mallie Poulton, a co-founder of the group, offered thanks to all who have supported Proud Bees and the junior group over the last two years. Special thanks to the staff at Bears Paw for hosting this event and Phil Burgess at 4 seasons for his generous contribution to the buffet.
