Frodsham Town Council Chair Judith Critchley represented Frodsham Town Council at the opening of our local literature festival, which is sponsored by the Council. The Mayor, who was invited, was unable to attend due to a prior appointment.
Judith said ”I was proud to represent Frodsham Town Council at the opening event of this year’s Weaver Words. It was an honour to hear local poet Andrew Rudd open and close the event with the poem ‘Spirit of Frodsham’, accompanied by a great musician Daniel Axworthy.
During his year as Mayor (2016/17), my guest Mallie Poulton commissioned ‘Spirit of Frodsham’ and dedicated it to the people of Frodsham.
