New team at the top

The “father of the Council” Councillor Lord Frank Pennington has been invested as the new Mayor of Frodsham, 26 years after serving as the first Mayor of Frodsham Town Council in 1992/93.

Councillor Liam Jones, the youngest member of the Council, will be Deputy Mayor.

The Council elected outgoing Mayor Cllr Alan Oulton to take over the Chair of the Council, replacing Cllr Judith Critchley who has served as Chair since 2016. Councillor Oulton thanked Cllr Critchley for her stalwart work as Chair over recent years.
