Frodsham Town Council Chair, Councillor Judith Critchley was pleased to open the newly refurbished Townfield Play Area on Saturday.
It was a fabulous community party for the children, organised by local mums and dads. There has been support across the whole town to keep and refurbish this play area. A big thank also to the feoffees (Trustees of Frodsham Endowed School) for agreeing a new long term lease and negotiating a fair rent.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was performed by one of the pupils from Manor School and Junior Mayor Michael. There was also a great turn out from FTC Councillors – unfortunately the Mayor was unable to attend as he was on holiday.
Every piece of play equipment was popular, old and new! Even the Mums and Dads tried out the big slide.
