The Daniel Adamson – a 1903 Steam Ship will be offering a FREE Summer Family Fun Day while it is berthed at Sutton Weaver Swing Bridge on July 22 and then at Acton Bridge on August 12.
The Danny invites aboard families and anyone who like to have a free guided tour of the ship from 11am to 4pm. A team of volunteer crew will be available to show you the engine rooms and beautiful Art Deco saloons.
There will also be a Teddy Bear Trail for children to search across the ship looking for Danny’s furry friends who are all dressed in crew uniforms and scattered around the ship busy at work, ready to be fund. Prizes for anyone who finds them all! There will also be the chance to make your own badge and watch a storytelling performance from 2pm.
Refreshments will be available, allowing you the chance to simply sit back and enjoy the views from our ship’s decks.
