Are you interested in becoming a Councillor?

Local Council elections are on 2 May 2019 for both Cheshire West and Chester Councillors and Frodsham Town Councillors for the 2019-23 term.

Cheshire West and Chester Council is holding sessions for potential candidates and agents for the elections to both Councils to inform them about how to stand for election, what the legal requirements are and how the local election process works.

Andrew Lewis, Returning Officer, said: “Becoming a Councillor is a great way to make a direct and positive impact on the daily lives of people in your community. In Cheshire West and Chester, Councillors play a vital role in shaping the future of their local communities. We want to welcome anyone interested in standing for election to find out more by attending these important briefings.”

  • Chester: The Turf, Chester Racecourse – Tuesday 5 March 2019, 6pm
