What’s On @ Castle Park Arts Centre September – October 2020

Castle Park Arts Centre has exciting new exhibitions showing from 16 September until 28 October 2020.

Come along to Castle Park Arts Centre and view original artwork and local craft work, that can be purchased or just admired.

In Gallery 1 ‘Beyond Landscape’ – An exhibition by Clipped In. In the Winter of 2019 this group decided on the title Beyond Landscape for this exhibition as they thought it was a theme that would give them all scope to make their own very individual explorations and body of artwork whilst hopefully creating a complementary and unified exhibition

In Gallery 2 Decorated books is an Exhibition of journals and paintings by Jackie Sumerfield. Jackie has been keeping journals since 2005 and has amassed over 30 of them, (and still counting) . This Exhibition of over 60 pieces shows journal pages, journals, sketchbooks and paintings, depicting a vast range of subjects, places and media over that period. Jackie also holding a series of workshops.

FREE entry 10am to 4pm Tuesday to Saturday (temporary opening hours – see website for latest details)

There will be no Open Evening due to Government guidelines.

The cafe is also open for refreshments and light lunches. There are musical interludes in the Courtyard at 11am.
