Frodsham Festival in the Park – 29 August

Rotary in Frodsham & Helsby are moving ahead with their plans for this year’s “Frodsham Festival in the Park” which for many years now has proved to be a wonderful and popular community project.

The Festival will go ahead using the same format as previous years but with a revised date of Sunday the 29th of August 2021, subject to the Government’s Covid-19 restrictions being relaxed as currently proposed, so… fingers crossed!

The Festival will officially be opened at 12.30 pm by Frodsham’s Town Mayor and will have three focal points:

  • The organizers of the Frodsham Downhill Run are moving ahead with their plans for the Festival to incorporate the finish of run, which they expect will involve many loyal competitors, comprising both young, old and family team runners in this long established event.
  • The galleries and shops of Castle Park Arts Centre will be open for all to visit, along with several art and craft displays and, of course, some shared live entertainment from those performing on the main stage.
  • The main stage will be directly in front of the house in Castle Park along with the stalls and displays from numerous trusts, organizations, societies, clubs and groups from our local community.

As usual, children and the young will be entertained throughout the day with rides and attractions in the children’s fun fair along with shows and features designed for older children.

With all this in prospect, we anticipate a great day will be had by residents and visitors alike, so please put the date in your diaries and calendars and come along
