Temporary Road Closure for Christmas Festival

Parts of Church Street, Red Lane and Main Street Frodsham will be closed from 5.30pm on Saturday 27 November 2021 for a maximum of 2 hours for the Christmas Festival.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intends to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on following roads in the Parish of Frodsham to enable the Frodsham Christmas Festival to be carried out by organiser.

Roads to be closed

  • Church Street (from Churchfield Road to A56 Main Street)
  • Red Lane (from Churchfield Road to Fluin Lane)
  • A56 Main Street (From Ship Street to Howey Lane)

The Order will come into force on 17:30 27th November 2021 and will continue in force for a maximum duration of 2 hours.

Access to Morrison’s via A56 Main Street will be maintained at all times.

Pedestrian access to premises situated on or adjacent to the roads will be maintained at all times.

Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes.

The promoter of the event is Frodsham Town Council.
