Christmas Voucher Scheme – Invitation to Local Businesses and Good Causes

This Christmas, Frodsham Town Council is again offering gift vouchers to its older residents, and invites all local businesses and good causes to accept the vouchers.

The face value of the vouchers has been increased from £10 to £15.

The Council encourages local independent shops and business, and all restaurants, cafés, bars or pubs serving food in Frodsham to support the scheme by accepting the vouchers in exchange for goods and services.

In recognition of the needs of small businesses the Council accepts claims for interim payments at the end of December and the end of January, as well as a final payment at the end of February.

Clubs, societies, churches and other good causes active in the town may also apply to accept the vouchers, giving residents a choice of spending the vouchers on a Christmas treat in Frodsham shops or supporting a local good cause. Some organisations may choose to use the money raised to put on events for our older residents.

All businesses, clubs and societies wishing to participate in 2022 must complete an application form available from the Town Council (email council@frodsham.gov.uk) and on the Council’s website at frodsham.gov.uk.

The closing date for businesses, clubs and societies to apply is 21 October 2022.
