Frodsham Town Council invites applications for this year’s Grant Scheme and is encouraging community organisations or individuals to apply for projects which:
- promote social inclusion by building dialogue & understanding
- increase skills & activities to aid social inclusion
- enhance the social, cultural or economic well-being of Frodsham or
- achieve excellence in their chosen activities.
An application form and further details are available from the Council’s website or from the FTC Office at Castle Park House. The deadline for applications is 29th November 2024.
Examples of activities that can attract grants:
- Sports, recreational & play activity
- Performing arts (theatre, music, etc)
- Visual arts (painting, sculpture, etc)
- Media, film and video
- Museums
- Literature
- Architecture, landscape and parks
- Combined arts and festivals
- Sponsorship
- Cultural heritage
Exclusions
Applications will not be considered:
- for day-to-day running costs;
- retrospectively (where money has been already spent or committed);

Last year, grants were awarded to:
- Frodsham Red Lion Bowling Club – Scarifying machine and verticutting cassette
- One Voice Community Choir – Portable rehearsal keyboard and portable Digital Piano
- Frodsham Library – Resources for general events and activities
- Main Street Memory Café – Projector and screen, workshops and relaxation sessions
- Mersey Weaver Scouts – Wall heaters and digital control unit
- Spirit of the Herd – Ponies Helping People – repairing, improving and expanding existing facilities
- Weaver Sailing Club – Childrens’ Wetsuits and Life Jackets
