This is the third time this application has been seen by members of the Planning Committee – the previous two occasions were during lockdown. Each time the drawings have been amended. When consulted on 26 May, when the proposal was to extend the existing dwelling, there were no comments from Planning Committee members. Revised proposals involving the creation of a separate dwelling were received on 1 July and the consensus of opinions from individual Planning Committee members was:
Object due to:
- out of sync with the majority of the surrounding properties
- it would increase traffic and further exacerbate vehicle and pedestrian safety and impact upon the neighbour’s amenity.
The drawings have again been amended and are resubmitted for further consideration.
