Great news! Our Christmas lights will sparkle across Frodsham every day from 4pm to midnight! These times mean you get the best, brightest festive glow right when it matters most. The lights will be lit 24/7 on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
This year we’ve upgraded the Main Street lights as part of a big two-phase improvement, with Church Street getting its magical makeover by 2026. And for the first time ever, our lights are running on smart timers, more twinkle, less waste!
New national rules mean councils now get charged for festive lighting electricity, so setting sensible times helps us keep things bright and cost-effective. Plus, our hours match neighbouring festive favourites like Helsby, Northwich, and Winsford.
