1.Apologies and reasons for absence
To receive apologies and approve reasons for absence from members.
2.Declarations of interest
To note any declarations of interest on items which are on the agenda.
3.Public participation
Members of the public are invited to speak on items which are on the agenda in accordance with FTC policy on public speaking at meetings.

5.Exclusion of press and public[i]
To consider that, in accordance with section 1(2) of the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960, and as extended by Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, the public, including the press, be excluded from the meeting because of the confidential and commercially sensitive nature of the following business to be transacted[ii]: item 6(a), item 6(b), item 6(c) and item 6(d).
6.Frodsham Market Charter
(a) To consider whether to bid for the Charter at auction (up to an agreed maximum limit), subject to legal advice and financial controls.
(b) To authorise the Town Clerk, in consultation with the Chair and Vice-Chair, to register and place a bid at the auction on 26 November 2025, up to a maximum value of £[insert amount], subject to decision under agenda item 7(a).
(c) To agree that, if successful, the Council will undertake a public consultation on the future use and operation of the market.
(d) To agree that, if successful, a press release and public notice will be issued to explain the Council’s decision and outline the next steps subject to decision made under agenda item 6(a)
