Frodsham based cycling club Frodsham Wheelers this week launched it’s fantastic new website to the joy of it’s members
Frodsham Wheelers cycling club promotes cycling in the Cheshire area by offering a range of club rides 5 days per week, but it is the social side of club membership which appeals most to it’s membership of approximately 70 male, female and youth riders.
The club offers a varied programme of rides and all weekend rides typically head for a café stop somewhere in the Cheshire countryside, North Wales or Derbyshire. The club is supported by it’s sponsor, Twelve50 Bikes which offers generous discounts to club members.
From the Springtime the club hosts a programme of Time Trials for members as well as some ‘Open’ local events. There is a programme of longer ‘Epic’ rides and some residential weekend trips. This year’s 240 mile ‘Dawn ’til Dusk’ ride (the 3rd Annual renewal) on June 25th will be ridden in support of a local charity.
The website has been launched in order to raise awareness of the activities of the club including charity events and in order to attract new members. Club President Danny Emmett reports that already we are beginning to receive a number of new enquiries!
The website provides details of the club timetable of rides, with ride reports, pictures and the now famous ‘Weekly Ride Video‘ produced by Club Chairman, Chris Hanson-Jones. Also there are ‘Ride Maps‘ to show our destinations and even café reviews!
Anyone interested in joining the club can contact them via a link on their site and all enquiries are responded to within 24 hours.
