Frodsham Town Council regrets to announce that Castle Park ward councillor Richard Knowles, has tendered his resignation
A significant increase in work and family commitments has been cited as the reasons for Richard leaving.
He said: “I’ve not taken this decision lightly as I believe the council is really having a positive impact on life in Frodsham.”
It’s also an exciting time with many fantastic events organised by our new mayor, cllr Mallie Poulton.”
But, with increased commitments to my work and family, the spare time I have available for council work is becoming increasingly limited and there is not enough for me fulfil the role in the way it should be.”
I will still keep involved with supporting the council, and would like to place on record my thanks to everyone at FTC who has helped me adjust to life as a councillor. I have enjoyed the experience and made many new friends.”
