Frodsham Mayor Cllr Mallie Poulton supported the transgender community by attending a ceremony in Liverpool on 18 November to mark Transgender Day of Remembrance.
The Transgender Day of Remembrance is held every November to remember those who died throughout the world in the previous year because of anti-transgender hatred.
Cllr Poulton said:
“They are an amazing group of people – true heroes in my book. Life is difficult enough, but when you’re not the person you should or want to be it must be horrendous. Congratulation Liverpool Council for flying the flag.”
