Art from the Square is a group of mainly professionally trained artists practicing in the Merseyside area who occasionally get together to exhibit recent work – an eclectic mix of styles and methods.
Christine Enright, who is exhibiting in gallery 2, has been a freelance artist and illustrator since 1993, specializing in portraiture and private commissions. Her first children’s book illustrated ‘Darkly Demon’, written by D M Lever was published by Electric Press, Sept, 2014.
In Gallery 3
John Spanton and Wyn Andrews are artists who enjoy working directly from life. John’s landscapes are mostly inspired by places he knows well and enjoys. Wyn’s observations of life and human experience are expressed in these still life, portrait and figure sketches and paintings. They hope you enjoy them.”
Link Gallery
David Lazzarich has a display of Street Photography in our Link Gallery. This is a style of photography that captures human activity, usually through chance encounters and random incidents within public places. People do not have to be present in the photographs, nor do the photographs need to be taken ‘on the street’ but there should be some evidence of human activity or influence. While there are many beautiful landscapes and David takes real joy in photographing nature and all its moods, it is the people who fascinate him. The small collection of photographs on display reflects Street Photography in the North West of England
