Frodsham Town Council is seeking quotes from a company to provide First-Aid cover at Frodsham Christmas Festival on Saturday 24 November 2018, from 9am to 9pm.
Basic schedule of the day
9am | Market stall holders are setting up on Station Car Park– approximately 100 people. |
12noon | Market opens and other activities take place throughout the town including Santa’s Grotto, Christmas Fayre in the Parish Hall and exhibition at the Arts Centre on Castle Park. |
6.30pm | Parade along Church Street and Main Street – this is when the number of people, spread along Church Street and Main Street, is at its maximum with children & families on floats, walking in the parade and watching the parade – difficult to estimate but likely to exceed 3,000. |
7pm | The parade ends at Castle Park and the crowds wend their way back to their cars parked at the Community Centre, hopefully via the market. |
8pm | Market closes and the area is usually clear by 9pm. |
There is no on-site provision for rest or refreshments, but the local Parish Hall is open and there are many cafes & pubs which will allow the use of their facilities.
References will be required.
