Cheshire West & Chester Council has made a Public Spaces Protection Order to tackle irresponsible dog owners and protect the welfare of users of play areas and other public recreation areas.
The Order will come into effect on 20 October 2018 for a period of 3 years, and may be enforced using Fixed Penalty Notices and fines.
Temporary signage about the new rules is currently being placed in key locations across the borough and permanent signage will follow later.
