Three-way traffic lights will operate at the junction of Hillside Road and Manley Road for 3 weeks from 25 March to allow United Utilities to insert a new plastic pipe inside the existing water main.
There will two way temporary traffic lights at the junction of Hazelhurst Road and Manley Road from Thursday 28 March 2018.
The two excavations are needed to ensure the work is completed most efficiently. and to avoid disruption to the water supply of local properties. No properties will lose their water supply during the works.
United Utilities hours of work during this project are from 8am until 5pm. From time to time they may need to work during evenings and weekends to minimise the amount of disruption caused.
