Frodsham Mayor Cllr Liam Jones writes:
“I was delighted to attend the Cheshire West Community & Voluntary Arts Awards last week and once again see Frodsham’s arts community being recognised for their efforts.
“Frodsham Players members Douglas and Meriel Cashin received the Unsung Hero award for their contributions to this fantastic drama group who have been going strong since 1942.
“It was also great to see Chester’s LGBT choir Proud Marys being highly commended in the Music category. The choir, which has several talented Frodsham members, later gave a fabulous performance to the awards audience.”
