The Mayor’s Civic Awards aim to recognise the very many hardworking and sometimes unrecognised individuals, groups and businesses that help make Frodsham what it is.
Nominations should be submitted on the form below and emailed to Councillor Liam Jones (liam.jones@frodsham.gov.uk) or posted to Frodsham Town Council, Castle Park, Frodsham, WA6 6SB no later than 5pm on Friday 18th October 2019.
Winners will be announced on Monday 21st October. Nominees must be available to receive their certificate award on the night of Friday 1st November.

Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony will take place aboard the Daniel Adamson Steamship on Friday 1st November, 6.30pm – by invitation only – further details will be confirmed nearer to the date.
Categories
Community Hero of the Year Award
This award is to recognise an individual(s) who have made a significant contribution to the Frodsham community.
Best Attraction of the Year Award
Any business or group can enter, this includes accommodation, visitor attractions, restaurants, cafes, pubs who are part of the visitor economy and continue to attract visitors to Frodsham.
Best Community Group of the Year Award
This is to recognise community groups who have done excellent work in our community, whether this is providing a service and or through the delivery of a project(s)/campaign, fundraise or help out in someway shape or form.
Best Business of the Year Award
This award is for individuals and organisations who have demonstrated exceptional business performance, innovation and impact upon the high street and or community.
Best Community Initiative of the Year Award
This award is for individuals, groups or businesses who have positively engaged with the community to make a real difference via a project, service or event.
Best Event of the Year Award
This is to recognise the good work and value created by organisers for staging small to large events for the benefit of Frodsham.
Outstanding Community Service of the Year Award
This award is to recognise and honour individuals and community groups for their excellent and outstanding services, contributions and time for striving to make Frodsham a better place.
Outstanding Charity of the Year Award
This award is specifically for charities to recognise the outstanding work and or services provided for the benefit of the community.
Rising Star of the Year Award
This award is for individuals and community groups who have shown exceptional promise, leadership and made a significant impact in the Frodsham community.
Best Performers of the Year Award
This award is for individuals and community groups to recognise its impact, enthusiasm and engagement through its activities for theatre, choirs, singing, plays, dance and performances.
Best News Publication of the Year Award
This award is for all News publications (print and online) to recognise their contribution to providing good community reporting, quality of content and design.
