North West Rising Star

Voting has now opened to crown the National Apprenticeship Awards Rising Star of the Year 2019, with nine outstanding apprentices from across England vying for votes to win the coveted title.

Public voting opened at 9am on Monday 7 October and will close at 5pm on Friday 18 October.

Showcasing apprentices who have made impressive progress in their career to date, the Lloyds Banking Group Award for Rising Star of the Year recognises apprentices demonstrating potential, through their apprenticeship, to reach the very top of their chosen profession. The national winner will be revealed at England’s biggest apprenticeship awards ceremony, to be held in November in London.

Emilia Hoyle is 23 and has been promoted to Marketing Manager at the manufacturing company, Heat Trace Limited, Cheshire. After completing a Higher Business Administration apprenticeship, Emilia is studying a Chartered Management Degree apprenticeship. She has exceeded all expectations by transforming marketing from an undervalued department into a proactive, respected team delivering increased sales and an enhanced global profile for Heat Trace.

Emilia has progressed from Marketing apprentice to department manager and is constantly striving to improve her skills and knowledge. She has ambition to become a member of the senior management team and devours feedback to help her understand how she can deliver real value for the company. She is a role model who is committed to promoting apprenticeships both inside and outside the workplace.
