Key messages to share
- Make sure you keep checking the Ukraine webpage on the Council website for the latest information about the local response to the conflict
- Celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee start with a Jubilee Proclamation on Thursday 2 June at the Cross
- The Council is extending the hours of its HELP phoneline over May half-term, making sure residents facing fuel, food and other emergencies can speak to someone and access support if they need to
- The Council has been awarded a maximum of £12.6 million from the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The funding is available over the next three years, with £1.5 million to be used for Multiply, the Government’s adult numeracy programme
- There’s still time for residents and carers in west Cheshire to share their views on community-based support services, with the consultation due to end on Sunday 19 June
- Many projects on the Cheshire West Crowd have already been successful in the latest crowdfunding round, with others still looking for donations
