Frodsham Town Council hosted its annual Halloween event on 26th October 2024. This year’s festivities were designed to offer family-friendly fun while fostering community spirit. The event took place at Frodsham Community Centre and included a variety of activities catering for children living in Frodsham between 4 and 11 years of age.
The planning committee, chaired by Councillor Bernie Wade, began preparations as early as June 2024. Funding was secured through a mix of council budget allocation and sponsorship from local businesses with special thanks to Morrisons, Frodsham for providing bottles of water for each child.
The Halloween event featured activities such as; a Magic Show and Disco Roadshow, Facepainting and Glitter Tattoos which were a real hit with the children.
The children showcased their fantastically scary costumes, there was also a prehistoric dinosaur who came to play and was very well behaved. Prizes were awarded to the best and most imaginative girl’s and boy’s costume.
Frodsham Town Council’s Halloween event was a resounding success, marked by high attendance, diverse activities, and positive community feedback. The event not only provided entertainment but also fostered a sense of community and offered a safe and enjoyable environment for families to celebrate Halloween.
