Frodsham Christmas Festival
(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intends to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on following roads in the Parish of Frodsham to enable the Frodsham Christmas Festival to be carried out by organiser.
The Order will come into force on Saturday 30th November 2024, with the following lengths of road to be closed for the duration from 17:30 until 19:30 as detailed below.
Roads to be closed
• B5152 Red Lane (from Fluin Lane to Church Street)
• B5152 Church Street (from B5152 Red Lane to A56 Main Street)
• A56 High Street (from Ship Street to A56 Main Street)
• A56 Main Street (from A56 High Street to A56 Chester Road)
• A56 Chester Road (from A56 Main Street to Howey Lane)
Access to Morrison’s via A56 Main Street will be maintained at all times.
Pedestrian access to premises situated on or adjacent to the roads will be maintained at all times.
Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes.
The promoter of the event is Frodsham Town Council.
