Mallie Poulton, Former Mayor of Frodsham and Community Champion

It is with deep sadness that the community of Frodsham mourns the passing of Mallie Poulton, former Town Councillor and Mayor of Frodsham (2016–2017), who died recently.

Mallie Poulton was a dedicated public servant and a passionate advocate for community engagement. During his tenure as Mayor, he initiated ‘Meet & Greet’ sessions to foster civic pride and showcase Frodsham’s heritage. He also represented the town at various regional events, strengthening inter-town relationships.

Beyond his official duties, Mallie was instrumental in founding the Big Bees Breakfast Club and the Frodsham Stroke Club, providing essential support and companionship to residents. His commitment to inclusivity was evident in his participation in events like Liverpool Pride, where he represented Frodsham’s inclusive values.

Mallie’s warmth, dedication, and tireless service left an indelible mark on Frodsham. He will be remembered not only for his civic contributions but also for his unwavering commitment to the well-being of the community.

The Council extends its heartfelt condolences to his  loved ones during this difficult time.
