Frodsham Downhill Run
(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intends to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on following roads in the Frodsham Ward to enable the Frodsham Downhill Run to be carried out by organiser.
The Order will come into force on Sunday 6th July 2025 and will close the following roads from 12:15 to 13:45 as detailed below.
Roads to be closed
• Bellemonte Road (from the Forest Hills Hotel & Leisure Complex main entrance to Church Road).
• Pinmill Brow (from Church Road to Howey Lane).
• Howey Lane (to a point approximately 230 metres from Howey Rise to Pinmill Brow).
Alternative routes for traffic as detailed below:
• Manley Road.
• B5152 / Church Street / Red Lane / Vicarage Lane.
• A56 / Chester Road / Main Street.
Pedestrian access to premises situated on or adjacent to the roads will be maintained at all times.
Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes.
