Frodsham Town Council has announced the return of its Food & Drink Festival on Saturday 13th June 2026 from 11am – 5pm at Castle Park, Frodsham.
Boasting a line-up of exciting chef demonstrations from local establishments and a thriving artisan market – following a hugely successful inaugural event in summer 2025 which attracted in the region of 2,000 people.
The event, based in Castle Park in the heart of the historic Cheshire town of Frodsham, is free to attend.
There will be a marquee where chef demonstrations will be taking place throughout the afternoon with free tastings, a picnic area (bring your own blanket and deck chairs) and children’s entertainment throughout the day, including a Punch & Judy show and small fairground rides to recreate a traditional British village fete feel that fits with Frodsham’s history and strong community feel.
The chef’s demonstration marquee, equipped with a kitchen area courtesy of local kitchen designer Gabriel Kitchen Design, will showcase the local area’s outstanding artisan retailers throughout the day, with freebies and discounts to use with independent Frodsham retailers.
The marquee lineup so far is:
Devonshire Bakery celebrating five generations of baking, Enchanted Forage specialising in nature’s larder, Dad’s Kitchen & Garden, Man V Food challenge hosted by H E Coward butchers, and a demonstration by Next Door, Frodsham’s Michelin Guide restaurant.
Main Street Kitchen will be hosting a children’s colouring competition.
Hot and cold food and drink will be available to purchase from various vendors, including a bar selling alcoholic beverages. Cheeky Café based opposite the children’s play area in the park and Castle Park Arts Centre will also be open, serving hot and cold beverages and light snacks including ice cream, seating is available in or outside of both these venues.
Independent Street’s much-loved Artisan Market, which takes place along Main Street in Frodsham on the last Saturday of the month, will also be present, thriving with independent retailers from the local area.
“We are delighted that the Frodsham Food & Drink Festival was such a success last year and can’t wait to run it again. Our town is filled with fantastic independent eateries and we’re able to showcase and celebrate them, plus others from surrounding local areas, in the wonderfully kept Castle Park. The fact it’s free entry also gives something back to our residents, as well as enticing visitors from out of town.” Councillor Bernie Wade – Frodsham Town Council
“We are so excited to be once again working with Frodsham Town Council on this exciting project. Events like this are a great way to bring the community together while boosting footfall and connecting visitors with local businesses. Frodsham has real market history and after the success of last year’s event we can’t wait to make this year bigger and better. There is a lot planned for the day! We hope you can make it!” Lisa Cowley – owner of Independent Street artisan market
