On Your Marks…

The twelfth Frodsham Downhill Run will be taking place on Sunday 2 July and, once again, there is a full complement of 250 runners taking part aged from 1 year to over 70 years.

The Downhill Run is organised by Frodsham Community Association for the benefit of the Community Centre and Woodhouse, Plumbing, Heating and Electrical Ltd are the main sponsors for this event.

The Downhill Run will start at the Monument on Frodsham Hill at 12.30pm with the route down Bellemonte Road and Howey Lane to arrive at Castle Park and the Rotary Club’s Festival in the Park. There will be plenty to entertain during the afternoon so if you can’t catch the runners do come to the Park for some fun.

Each runner gets a T shirt and a certificate for taking part and Best Western Forest Hills Hotel Leisure Club will provide water at the finish.

FCA is very grateful to all the friends and volunteers who support the run and we hope the people Frodsham and the surrounding area will be out in force next Sunday afternoon to support the runners and all the activities.
