8. Grant from Mersey Forest
To note that 175 trees were planted on 26th March 2025 adjacent to Churchfields Orchard.
9. Hob Hey Wood
a) To note that it was agreed, at the last meeting (Ref: 14/03/2025/9b), to be designated a Local Nature Reserve to Natural England.
b) To agree to register Hob Hey Wood as a potential nature investment site: https://cheshirelnp.co.uk/
10. Damage to Green Gates play area
a) To note that the walkways have been vandalised and the cost of repair is £485.
b) To consider whether to make an insurance claim (excess £200) or to go ahead and instruct the repairs.
11. Defibrillator
a) To note that the defibrillator hosted by Gates Garage requires refitting in an outside cabinet at an approximate cost of £1,000 (2 quotes have been received).
b) To consider giving the Clerk delegated authority to instruct installation of the cabinet.
12. Christmas Lights Working Group
a) To note that the Clerk has spoken with a CWAC Highways engineer and gained confirmation that the lighting can be replace like for like.
b) To note that a meeting took place, attended by KDE, Cllr Lofts, Cllr Nield, a member of the public (also a member of the Working Group) and the Town Clerk and that the installation of the current lights was discussed.
c) To receive a report prepared by a member of the Working Group.

13. Planters
a) To note that it is not possible to apply for a license for roadside planters (from CWAC) without the full specification of the planters and confirmation that the installer has the correct permissions for working alongside the highway.

14. Active Travel Working Group
a) To note the report provided by Cllr Holman.
b) To approve payment of £150 to Bren Bikes for provision of a bike maintenance course to be held during the school summer holiday.
