Town Council Meeting to award the Freedom of Frodsham

Freedom of Frodsham Meeting Agenda 19-05-2025

1. The Chair shall open the meeting of Council and welcome all those in attendance.

2. The Chair shall move the motion to grant Freedom of the Town.

3. The Chair shall invite a Member to second the motion.

4. The Chair of the Council shall pay tribute.

5. The Chair shall invite the Council to pass a resolution conferring the Freedom of Frodsham upon Mark O’Sullivan, in recognition of his outstanding service to the community and his unwavering dedication to preserving and enhancing Hob Hey Wood, ensuring that generations of Frodsham residents can continue to enjoy the sanctuary, flora, and fauna of this ancient woodland.

6. The Chair shall invite the recipient to come forward to sign the Roll of Honorary Freemen and receive the certificate and gift.

7. The recipient will give a response.

8. The Chairman will conclude proceedings and invite all Members and guests to attend the Annual Town Meeting.
