‘Art of the Garden’, a themed exhibition by the Eddisbury Artists will be displaying in gallery one. The Eddisbury Artists is a group of North West Cheshire artists which meets throughout the year on Thursday evenings to draw and paint, developing their individual artistic skills and interest.

In Gallery Two the exhibition, entitled ‘Fine Art, a personal perspective’ was created by HND Fine Art students at Mid Cheshire College. The work represents a wide range of personal themes, media, materials and techniques and all artworks have been generated on the first year of the HND Fine Art programme. Students have embraced a variety of specialist Fine Art media areas including drawing, painting, printing and mixed media. The results demonstrate the creative talents and flair of this next generation of Fine Artists.

Artists group Clipped In are back for the fourth year running in gallery 3. Brought together by a love of the outdoors this group of artists has produced a body of work inspired by the theme of “Reflections”. “A moment of time, captured, in the mountains” Jim Symon. “Reflecting on the evolution of navigation and mapping over history” Philippa Maye. “Reflecting on man and nature: the North Wales quarries have been weathered by both the elements and man’s intervention” Sue Marsden.

David Grimbleby’s exhibition in the Link Gallery is called “Off The Beaten Track”. A showcase of works in pencil, paint and mixed media of out of the way places in the north west landscape, featuring trees, rivers and the textures found off the beaten track throughout the seasons.

The ‘Meet the Artists’ evening is being held on Friday 19 May 2017 7 – 9 pm, everyone welcome.
