Frodsham Mayor Cllr Alan Oulton reports:
We were asked to attend and officially open a ‘Big party in the Little Park’ on Park Lane. This was organised by local residents to celebrate the ‘for sale’ status on the park being lifted. Around 60 adults and 30 children (approx.) enjoyed music; party food; BBQ; bouncy castle; kids sports and much more. A visitor was Helsby’s ‘Happy Bollard’.
White balloons were also released in memory of John Williamson and Roy Gleave, who campaigned so much for the park.
