On Thursday, founder of the friendship group Proud Bees Cllr Mallie Poulton attended the Silver Rainbow Annual Conference at Chester Town Hall, with Proud Bees chairman Micheal Marlow and children’s and family counsellor Ms Lorraine Pate.
The conference was all about the aging LGBTQ community – many attended and our two delegates later joined the panel in a very interesting Q&A.
Proud Bees will be attending Chester Gay Pride March on 19 August where Cllr Poulton will escort the Lord Mayor of Chester at the head of the parade. The Junior Group that meets at the Frodsham Youth Association will also be there with other youth groups.
