Cheshire West & Chester Council’s work on the Rock will continue into next week. The Council recently inspected “The Rock” and highlighted a number of sections of the wall that need attention.
They are removing any vegetation and loose masonry with the view to returning after Christmas to secure any affected areas.
In order to undertake these works manually-controlled temporary traffic signals will be in use on the approach to Bear’s Paw traffic lights, with a lane closure nearer to the junction.
To minimise the disruption to traffic, works will be restricted to the quieter parts of the day.
The current programme of works is as follows:
- Monday 20th November 2017 to Friday 1st December 2017 between the hours of 10am until 2:30pm
