Festival in the Park – 1 July 2018

Once again, Rotary in Frodsham & Helsby will be staging Frodsham’s “ Festival in the Park” on Sunday 1st of July.

Bearing in mind the good weather last year, we are trying to arrange another fine day so everyone can enjoy a day at the Festival!

This wonderful community project will officially be opened at 12.30 pm by Frodsham’s Town Mayor and, as in previous years, the event will have three focal points:

The Festival will incorporate the finish of the “Frodsham Downhill Run”, which we expect will involve well over a hundred competitors, comprising both young, old and family runners.

The galleries and shops of Castle Park Arts Centre will be open for all to visit along with several art and craft displays, and of course some shared live entertainment from those performing on the main stage.

The main stage will be directly in front of the house in Castle Park itself, along with stalls and displays from some 40 trusts, organisations, societies, clubs and groups.

As usual, children and the young will be entertained throughout the day with rides and attractions in the children’s fun fair along with shows and features designed for older children.

With all this in prospect, we anticipate a great day will be had by residents and visitors alike, so please come along. Admission is free, but donations at the gates to Rotary charities and good causes will be welcomed.

Rotary in Frodsham & Helsby works very closely with Castle Park Arts Centre, members of Frodsham Town Council and of course Cheshire West and Chester Council to put together the Festival. The Downhill Run is organised by Frodsham Community Association.
