Proposed traffic restrictions on Main Street

Cheshire West and Chester Council has given notice of a proposal to introduce parking restrictions on Main Street, Frodsham.

CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL
TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make the following Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL
(MAIN STREET, FRODSHAM) (STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2018

The effect of the Order will be to: introduce designated parking places on the lengths of Main Street Frodsham listed below which operate between 8am and 6pm Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday on the northerly side of the road, and between 8am and 6pm Monday to Saturday on the southerly side of the road. During these times motor vehicles displaying valid residents’ parking permits may be left in the designated parking place for an unlimited period of time, and any motor vehicle may be left for a period not exceeding two hours with no return within one hour.
Northerly side
(i) from a point 66 metres south-west of the centre-line of Church Street for a distance of 29.5 metres in a south-westerly direction;
(ii) from a point 100 metres south-west of the centre-line of Church Street for a distance of 12 metres in a south-westerly direction;
(iii) from a point 118 metres south-west of the centre-line of Church Street for a distance of 40 metres in a south-westerly direction;
(iv) from a point 164.5 metres south-west of the centre-line of Church Street for a distance of 12.5 metres in a south-westerly direction;
(v) from a point 182 metres south-west of the centre-line of Church Street for a distance of 49.5 metres in a south-westerly direction;
(vi) from a point 238.5 metres south west of the centre-line of Church Street for a distance of 8.5 metres in a south-westerly direction;
(vii) from a point 270 metres south-west of the centre-line of Church Street for a distance of 29 metres in a south-westerly direction; and
(viii) from a point 306 metres south-west of the centre-line of Church Street for a distance of 15.5 metres in a south-westerly direction.
Southerly side
(i) from a point 12 metres north-east of the centre-line of Fountain Lane for a distance of 28 metres in a north-easterly direction;
(ii) from a point 44 metres north-east of the centre-line of Fountain Lane for a distance of 3 metres in a north-easterly direction;
(iii) from a point 52 metres north east of the centre-line of Fountain Lane for a distance of 11 metres in a north-easterly direction;
(iv) from a point 69 metres north-east of the centre-line of Fountain Lane for a distance of 22 metres in a north-easterly direction;
(v) from a point 97.5 metres north-east from the centre-line Fountain Lane for a distance of 53 metres in a north-easterly direction;
(vi) from a point 161 metres north-east of the centre-line of Fountain Lane for a distance of 43 metres in a north-easterly direction;
(vii) from a point 218.5 metres north-east of the centre-line of Fountain Lane for a distance of 3 metres in a north-easterly direction; and
(viii) from a point 260.5 metres north-east of the centre-line of Fountain Lane for a distance of 40 metres in a north-easterly direction.

Full details are contained in the Order, which, together with a plan showing the location and effect of the Order, may be examined at the Council Offices, Castle Park, Frodsham WA6 6SB between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

All objections and other representations relating to the Orders must be made in writing to the undersigned by 12th October 2018 and objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Any representations made should specify the title of the Order and may become available for public inspection.
