The Mayor and Junior Mayors were blown away by the colourful and imaginative Christmas window displays in our local shops.
It made judging the Christmas window competition a tricky task, but three worthy winners were chosen on the morning of the Christmas Festival.
First place went to Cottage Tea Shop – the judges loved with the window display, which was great fun, and the decoration carried on inside the shop as well.
Two new businesses were joint runners up:
Dandelion Gifts – the judges were impressed with what the new owner has done with Dandelion’s new look and window display.
The Little Craft Company – the judges enjoyed the window display, recognising that the owner has worked tremendously hard to build her business up from small beginnings at Gleaves Garden Centre.
