“I was delighted to have been invited to a showing at Frodsham Film Society on Saturday. We saw Mary Queen of Scots at the Community Centre, where I met the chairman Alan Gerrard (pictured), the secretary Frank Hough and various other members. The Society recently just celebrated its 50th anniversary and is still going strong today.
“I also learnt that the Society was successful in securing funding from the Wind Farm to pay for a new projector to deliver what is a truly amazing cinematic experience.”
