Background
This follows on from discussion at Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Cabinet meeting held on 25th November 2020 of a new model of delivery for leisure, health and wellbeing services.
The meeting agreed to a proposal to set up a project group involving local stakeholders with the aim of developing draft options by July 2021 for the provision of a leisure, health and wellbeing and library service for Frodsham and Helsby.
These options will be shared with the local community to help shape the offer. A further report to be considered by Cheshire West & Chester Council’s Cabinet in September 2021 in relation to options for Frodsham and Helsby.
In the short term, Frodsham Leisure Centre will continue to operate on a limited basis.
