A533 (M56) Expressway bridge replacement
We’re replacing the existing bridge that carries the A533 Chester Road over the M56.

M56 overnight closures postponed
The full overnight closures of the M56, due to take place on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 January, have been postponed by one week.
This is to allow for additional work to be carried out at the same time.
The M56 junction 11 to 12 will now be closed overnight on:
- Saturday 28 January, 9 pm – 6 am
- Sunday 29 January, 9 pm – 6 am
By carrying out more work over the same weekend we’ll be reducing the number of closures needed, minimising disruption on customers.
