Many families across the borough are struggling to afford the essentials, let alone extra activities or a lengthy uniform list. However, there is lots of support out there to help you access food, uniforms and more.

 


Get free photo ID to vote in the May elections

You will need to show photographic identification before you vote at the local, town and parish council elections on Thursday 4 May 2023. If you don’t have an accepted form of ID, don’t panic because you can apply for a Voter Authority Certificate free of charge.

 

 

 


Save money with a simple boiler hack

 

Do you own a combi boiler? By turning down your boiler flow
temperature to 60 degrees Celsius or below, you could save £112 a year.
You can ask to have it done with your boiler’s annual service.

Borrow an iPad and get online for free

 

You can now boost your digital skills, or help someone you know to get online, by borrowing an iPad from your local library. You can borrow an iPad for six weeks and it even comes with mobile data so you can access online Council services and much more.
